Summary
Easy Scraper AI is a no-code web scraper for Chrome. What you scrape stays on your computer: we never receive the pages you scrape or the data you export. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. This policy explains the details.
What the extension does with page data
When you open the side panel and start a run, the extension reads the content of the page you are on in order to build the table you see.
- Extracted rows are stored locally, in your browser's storage.
- Your saved scraper settings, preferences and run progress are stored locally, using the browser's extension storage.
- Exports (CSV and JSON) are written as files on your own device by your browser's download mechanism.
None of this is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the extension, or clearing its data in Chrome, removes it.
Signing in with Google
Signing in is optional; every feature works without it. If you choose to sign in, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us so we can recognize your account. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Google data.
Cookies on our website
Our website sets a few first-party cookies, for example so that it can recognize your installed extension. They are not used for advertising, are never shared with third parties, and expire after 400 days at most. You can delete them in your browser settings at any time.
Feedback you send us
When you use the feedback form on our website (for example after uninstalling), we receive your message, your email address if you give one, any screenshots or videos you attach, and technical details: the extension version, your browser and browser language. We use them to reply to you and to fix problems.
Artificial intelligence
The extension can use Chrome's built-in on-device AI model to help you set up a scraper. The model runs inside your browser, on your machine. No page content is sent to us or to any AI provider. If your browser does not provide the built-in model, these suggestions are simply unavailable; scraping is unaffected.
Website analytics
Our website (not the extension) uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand which pages and links help people find us. It records the pages you view on our website, which install links you click, whether you play our videos, your approximate region, and your device and browser type.
It does not receive your account, your user code, your email address, or anything from the extension.
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID. We set one more cookie, cs_consent, to remember your choice for one year.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics is only loaded after you click Accept. Everyone can change their choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect the pages you visit or scrape, the data you extract, your browsing history, credentials, payment or financial information, health information, personal communications or precise location.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell user data and we do not use any data for creditworthiness, lending or advertising purposes. We share data only with service providers that operate the service for us: our hosting provider and, for our website, Google Analytics.
Children
The extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children.
Your choices
Scraped data never leaves your device, so you control it directly: clear the extension's storage in Chrome or uninstall the extension to remove everything. To ask us to delete the Google details you signed in with, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
